College Counseling
Counselors at Faith Baptist Schools believe that their ministry is to assist each student in developing to their complete potential by helping them to develop their individual abilities, to find their interests, and to follow their calling. Guidance counselors encourage students to establish worthy educational, vocational, and personal goals and assist students in bridging the gap between adolescence and adulthood. At Faith Baptist Schools, the College Counseling Program carefully monitors academic strengths, geographical preferences, and financial resources to facilitate the students selection of a college or university that is particularly appropriate for the individual. Each student is advised to seek God’s particular will for their life and to follow a program that emphasizes his or her particular strengths and talents. All sophomores and juniors take the PSAT. SAT I and SAT II tests are taken when appropriate in the sophomore, junior, and senior years. The list of high school graduation requirements can be found HERE.
Faith Baptist Schools has an outstanding record of college admissions, with over 90 percent of our graduating seniors being accepted each year by four-year-colleges.
